Solo, Jogja, Semarang

we visited solo with simply reason to avoid the expensive airplane tariff to semarang; so, to make our visit more valuable, we arranged a culinary trip in solo.

we departed in solo at 7am, picked up by desi, my sister in law and her family, the 1st culinary plan was having tengkleng in pasar klewer for breakfast; but we lacked of information on operating hours.. it opens at 14.00... so, for sure, we did not have this kind of food.

second culinary trip destination was sate buntel tambak segaran at sutan syahrir.. and not yet open, as well.

so practically, our culinary trip in solo was totally failed.

next prompted idea.. visited prambanan.
surprisingly, i met mainak there with his wife and daughter.

prambanan is so beautiful, more beautiful than angkor wat, it is clean, greeny and well maintained; but totally uncomparable in term of size to angkor wat. we rode a mini train to see whole prambanan area; it was rain but still the beauty of prambanan was captured.

next destination was gudeg yu djum, yogya.

sayang.. chicken head has already run out.. that's my favorite chicken part for eating. :(

imagine, it was 11 of us, but we only paid total 216K for food and beverages. :)

next destination was semarang.

we spent our weekend in desi's house; i did not really in the mood to go out in semarang, except spending 4 hours in beauty salon with desi, nadia and my mom in law :)

it feels so good and so right to have fun together with my big family, even though, what we have done were only simply things such eating & pampering ourself, but the togetherness with them is always a very precious moment for me.
